We are pleased to announce James Boulding has joined our international team. James comes to us with a solid background in the industry riding cable, kiting kickers, sliders and rails. He and his crew threw themselves into the movement depicted as 'wake style'. He has more than a keen interest in filming and has used video making as a tool to document his trips and projects. A native of Newcastle UK, James is constantly traveling in search of sun and good times. We are stoked to welcome James to the team!
Maui HI- February 1, 2013- The Velocity VMG race kite represents the pinnacle of racing efficiency on all points of sail. Developed over an entire season with designer Pat Goodman, Damien Leroy and PKRA World Tour Racing Champion Bryan Lake, the Velocity VMG is podium proven. The Velocity is based on a bow kite plan form for the highest power to drag ratio. Its upwind ability is only matched by its ability to fly on all points of sail off the wind due to its full, powerful profiles.
The Velocity features a light weight construction using only 5 micro struts with .06mm TPU bladders and modified panel layout with no dacron and no chafe protectors. Its power production is optimized by keeping the area focused where the arc is flatter and the aerodynamic forces contribute the most towards forward speed.
The interactive trim of the Velocity kite is made possible by our all new Quicklink SLF (single line flag) Racing control system. The Quicklink SLF uses a 4:1 Clam Cleat trim system with 30cm of adjustment, giving you the feeling that you have an entire crew onboard to optimize your kite trim while on the fly.
The control system has a fully spinning SLF safety system with an independent swiveling harness loop and leash attachment.

An avid sailor and skilled surfer from age 7, Brian Kender has found the most comfort in a sport that marries both wind and waves. Kite surfing has been a natural transition for Brian, and his acquired skills from a lifetime of water sports spending summers in Mantoloking, NJ have all been tried and advanced. From his first kite surfing ride in Aruba during late 2005, which ended in a minor search and rescue effort from local boat due to a changing offshore wind that brought him far out to sea, Brian has spent as much time as possible honing his abilities to become one of the top Kite Racers in Southern California. Some of his favorite kiting spots include Mantoloking, NJ; Seal Beach, CA; and Edgartown, MA. Brian placed third at the Ronstan Long Distance Challenge in San Francisco in June 2012. That race was turning point in the decision to pursue the sport professionally, and he looks forward to the competition that lies ahead during the 2013 Kite racing season. His current race plan will take him to Mexico, Egypt, and Italy.
