Cabrinha Team in Hatteras
Cabrinha Team members Susi Mai, Andre Phillip, Damien Leroy, Jon Modica, Clarissa Hempel, Kevin Steen, Jesse Cors, Brandon Pelly and David Hastilow will be in Nags Head, NC from May 27 to June 4th.
The Team is there to break champagne over the new Cabrinha slider built by Chris Butzen
of Kitty Hawk Kites and his crew. Cabrinha's Andre Phillip, Damien
Leroy, Jon Modica, Kevin Steen, Garry Menk, and Chris Butzen put their
ideas together to build the ultimate slider and fun box - one
that challenges pro level riders, while offering an opportunity for
first timers to try out a slider without too much consequence. The
slider will welcome thousands of kiters a year to Nags Head and Cape
Hatteras, as well as to provide a training ground for the Cabrinha team.
A construction paper mockup video of the slider was produced by Kevin
Steen of Steenfilms.com as part of the design phase and can be viewed here, as well as an actual video documentary of the construction can be seen here
