KAFKA CAPTURES TOP SPOT
Cabrinha’s Jeff Kafka from Pacifica CA, kited his way to the championship of the 2007 Cabrinha Race Series hosted by the prestigious St. Francis Yacht Club of San Francisco. In it’s third year, the 2007 Cabrinha Race Series involved 12 nights of racing, 36 races and over 40 racers.
Kafka, who was a close second at the 2007 US National Kite Racing Championships, dominated the Cabrinha Race Series finishing first overall in 6 of the 10 nights he raced , while capturing a first in 18 of the 29 races he participated. His weapons of choice were Cabrinha crossbow 12m and 9m and his Contra 14m. The Cabrinha Race Series is sponsored by Adventure Sports Miami and Ozone Travel.
