UNVEILING THE PODIUM PROVEN VELOCITY RACE COLLECTION

KF-Race-1

Maui HI- February 1, 2013- The Velocity VMG race kite represents the pinnacle of racing efficiency on all points of sail. Developed over an entire season with designer Pat Goodman, Damien Leroy and PKRA World Tour Racing Champion Bryan Lake, the Velocity VMG is podium proven. The Velocity is based on a bow kite plan form for the highest power to drag ratio. Its upwind ability is only matched by its ability to fly on all points of sail off the wind due to its full, powerful profiles.

The Velocity features a light weight construction using only 5 micro struts with .06mm TPU bladders and modified panel layout with no dacron and no chafe protectors. Its power production is optimized by keeping the area focused where the arc is flatter and the aerodynamic forces contribute the most towards forward speed.

The interactive trim of the Velocity kite is made possible by our all new Quicklink SLF (single line flag) Racing control system. The Quicklink SLF uses a 4:1 Clam Cleat trim system with 30cm of adjustment, giving you the feeling that you have an entire crew onboard to optimize your kite trim while on the fly.

The control system has a fully spinning SLF safety system with an independent swiveling harness loop and leash attachment.

The Cabrinha Race Board is made with one purpose in mind: to win tactical course races in all conditions. It features a single shot superlite EPS foam core, wrapped in a PVC / carbon / innegra sandwich construction. This exotic super light weight race machine is finished with custom cut deck traction and 3 computer foiled G10 race fins.

The 2013 Cabrinha Race Collection is registered with the IKA.
